The first of four pilots of the curriculum and platform of the blended learning version of STEM Ed Innovators was launched on February 7 at KIPP Houston. Dierre Taylor, STEM Ed Master Fellow, facilitated the two-hour face-to-face kickoff workshop, and will convene and mentor the following five virtual workshops. Attendees gave thumbs up to the fact that what they learned is immediately applicable in their classroom and that these were "deep" sessions. Three more pilots will start-up in the next weeks in different parts of the US.
